The 20th annual Taste of Suffolk Downtown Street Festival is set for Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in historic downtown Suffolk, with an After Party from 5 to 8 p.m. The event will feature a day of delicious food, entertainment, and activities for children, all within walking distance.
This year's festival footprint will extend along Main Street from Market Street to Washington Street, West Washington Street to Commerce Street and Saratoga Avenue into Downtown Festival Park. Among the streets you'll find local restaurants serving up their signature dishes, booths featuring goods and services from area vendors, and live entertainment from regional musicians and talent. Kids and families will find plenty to do in the Fun Zone, offering both indoor and outdoor attractions that families can enjoy. Plus, classic car enthusiasts can visit the car show hosted by Main Street United Methodist Church. Affected areas include Finney Avenue and North Main Street to Fayette Street, Oakdale Terrace, and Freemason Street. Washington Street from Commerce Street to Saratoga Street and Bank Street at Commerce Street will also be closed.
